Pinawa Beach

Pinawa Beach is located on the northern end of Whiteshell Provincial Park along the Winnipeg River and is equipped with a play structure, picnic shelter, volleyball court, and diving dock.

Swinging Bridge

Pinawa’s Suspension Bridge allows visitors and local residents a greater opportunity to discover and appreciate the natural beauty of the Pinawa district on this branch of the Trans Canada Trail. Located off the Alice Chambers Trail, it is 54 metres long and 1 metre wide. Crossing the Pinawa Channel north of the Pinawa Cemetery, the bridge is part of a loop for interpretive walks, casual fishing, and cross-country skiing. The Pinawa Channel Heritage Walk on the north side of the channel is accessed either by the suspension bridge or the diversion dam at the end of PR 211.

Old Pinawa Dam

This place is beautiful. It's an old hydro dam that's been decommissioned for decades and has been made as a great self-guided walking tour of the oldest hydro dam in Manitoba.

Around the damn are some smooth cascades that can be used as water slides. Life vest recommended, although lots of locals don't use them. Great place for a picnic, a swim and a walk. Parking fees for those without provincial passes.

Hot Tub

Overlooking the Winnipeg River this 13 person hot tub is perfect for sunrize or last soak before bed.
